Bio
I've had some time to read again the books of my youth. Also, I've read the classics and the bestsellers that clutter any book store. I haven't been able to write for so long, that I needed something to help me along.

The first time I remember wanting to be a writer is after I read a book called "Where the Red Fern Grows". So I figured reading as much as I could at all times would help me back on the path of writing again.

This journal won't be filled with greatness. What has filled the pages thus far is my rough drafts. They are spur of the moment entries. I hope to fill this journal with more of those.

I am working on a personal work shop now. When I was back home for vacation I came across a book called "A Writer's Book of Days". The subtitle is: A Spirited Companion and Lively Muse for the Writing Life. The book is by Judy Reeves and it has successfully broken my writer's block.

Before I would only write when I was feeling something extreme. A break up, a make up, new relationships, old ones, lost loves, rejection, deaths... you get the picture.

This book teaches you to write every day no matter what. To help, it even gives you something to write about every single day. On July 14th (today) I am supposed to write about a dinner party.

I won't divulge everything here. But keeping to the books rules, you'll see the roughest of my rough drafts. Hopefully, as the book promises, I'll start to see some sort of pattern in the chaos.

I won't just use this journal for the book. In fact very little of what I write will make it here. Only because the book strongly suggests that I write everything in a paper journal, and I prefer that to typing anyway. But if anything seems fun or good I'll share it.

Other than that, thank you for stopping by. Cheers to my friends who have added me. I thank you for that. Here's to my mission: to mesh fiction with fact. =)
